Customizing MaxiVista

One great feature of MaxiVista is that you can run different resolutions on the separate displays. If your Primary display supports 3200x1600 resolution, then you can set it to a high resolution and your Tablet PC to 1024x768. Control of these features are available through the System Tray Menu.

Tablet PC Display

The MaxiVista default display mode for a Tablet PC is Primary Landscape. That's fine for most people, however, I usually use my Tablet PC in Primary Portrait mode. I prefer to read webpages, email, and Word documents with more length than width.

Here is a screenshot of the Tablet PC in Primary Portrait mode:

You can see from this picture above that though the Tablet PC screen area is now very limited, you can continue using the power of the Tablet PC in the standard Tablet PC workspace. Or, if you're using a notebook, apps on the notebook can still be accessed even though screen real estate is not optimum.
